1. Notice at Collection of Personal Information

We collect personal, demographic, and financial details from prospective borrowers solely for the purpose of connecting you with independent lending partners, financial service providers, and marketing networks capable of servicing your financing requests. We retain collected data only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill these connection services, satisfy administrative obligations, resolve disputes, and comply with state and federal financial regulations.

2. Categories of Information We Collect

Depending on your interactions with our website, we may collect the following categories of information:

A. Information You Voluntarily Submit

  • Contact Identifiers: Full legal name, residential mailing address, telephone number(s), and email address.
  • Financial & Employment Details: Income source, monthly earnings, employer name, employment phone, pay frequency, and direct deposit status.
  • Sensitive Consumer Data: Date of birth, state identification or driver’s license number, and Social Security Number (collected strictly for identity verification and lender underwriting authorization).
  • Banking Details: Bank name, account type (checking or savings), ABA routing number, and account number required for lender direct deposit verification.

B. Automatically Gathered Technical Data

Whenever you browse our Website, our servers automatically record technical diagnostics, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser type and language, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, and access timestamps.

C. Information Sourced from Third Parties

To enhance identity verification, combat fraudulent applications, and match you with suitable lenders, we may cross-reference the data you submit with public databases, data aggregators, and credit reference bureaus.

3. How We Use & Process Your Information

We process your personal information for lawful business purposes, including:

  • Loan Matching Services: Transmitting your submitted criteria to prospective lending partners within our nationwide network so they can evaluate eligibility and present loan offers.
  • Consumer Communications: Updating you on the status of your connection request, answering customer inquiries, and providing administrative notices.
  • Platform Security & Fraud Detection: Monitoring for duplicate, unauthorized, or synthetic identity submissions to protect applicants and participating financial institutions.
  • Service Improvement & Analytics: Assessing user interaction metrics to refine user journeys, interface performance, and loan-form usability.
  • Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Complying with statutory audits, court orders, subpoenas, and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.

4. Sharing & Third-Party Disclosures

Take Your Loans is an online loan connection service, not a direct lender. In order to fulfill your requested loan connection, we disclose your application data to third parties as described below:

  • Independent Lending Partners: We share your application information with lenders within our network who may evaluate your creditworthiness and originate a loan.
  • Marketing Affiliates & Financial Networks: If our primary lenders are unable to extend an offer, we may transmit your profile to partner networks that provide alternative credit products, debt consolidation, or credit monitoring services.
  • Infrastructure Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who provide database hosting, IT infrastructure, fraud screening, and SSL encryption management under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Authorities: Regulatory agencies, law enforcement, or courts when mandated by law or necessary to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
  • Corporate Transitions: In the event of an acquisition, merger, reorganization, or sale of company assets, consumer data may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

5. Credit Checks & FCRA Disclosures

By submitting a loan request on this platform, you grant participating lenders explicit written authorization under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to obtain consumer credit reports and scores from major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) or specialized alternative reporting bureaus. These inquiries may be conducted as soft pulls (which do not affect your credit score) or hard pulls upon formal lender application.

6. Telecommunications & TCPA Consent

Pursuant to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), submitting your telephone number constitutes affirmative written consent for Take Your Loans and participating lenders to contact you via live phone calls, automated dialing systems, SMS/MMS text messages, and prerecorded messages regarding your financing request, even if your phone number is registered on any state or federal Do-Not-Call registry. You may revoke SMS consent at any time by replying "STOP" to any received text message.

7. Your State Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA & Beyond)

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other jurisdictions with comprehensive consumer data privacy laws have specific rights regarding their personal data:

  • Right to Know & Access: You may request disclosure of the specific categories and pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to statutory exemptions (such as fraud prevention and regulatory recordkeeping).
  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal records maintained by our platform.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing: You have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising purposes by visiting our Do Not Sell My Information page.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will never deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service for exercising your privacy rights.

8. Data Security & Technical Safeguards

We enforce rigorous administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to ensure the confidentiality of your information. All transmissions through our web application are protected via high-assurance 256-Bit SSL/TLS Encryption. Access to applicant records is strictly restricted to authorized systems on a least-privilege basis. However, because no transmission over the Internet is 100% impenetrable, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies, Pixels & Analytical Tracking

We employ standard browser cookies, web beacons, and analytical tags to remember your session state, assess site performance, and monitor promotional campaign effectiveness. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, doing so may limit form functionality and session retention.

10. Protection of Minors (Under 18)

Our platform and services are exclusively designed for legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or retain personal data from minors under age 18. Any information identified as originating from an individual under 18 will be permanently purged from our databases immediately.

11. Amendments & Policy Updates

We reserve the right to revise or update this Privacy Policy at our discretion at any time. Any changes become effective immediately upon publication on this page, indicated by the revised "Last Revised" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
